There are all kinds of activities taking place in terms of research and conferences. Here are just a few:

  • Your donations at http://ldsarchaeology.com are invaluable in supporting on-going archaeological research in the proposed Land of Zarahemla.  Either lump sum and monthly donations are happily accepted. In 2020 we scanned 220 acres using the German SENSYS equipment, locating hundreds of fire pits and some buildings - confirming it an area of ancient habitation. In November 2021 Landviser, LLC (from Russia) LiDAR scanned 34,000 acres, providing a way to measure the electrical resistivity of anomalies in the ground. From these, information is beginning to come forward, including a 4 mile city wall. Trees present on the wall indicate it was built prior to any Corps/Engineering work in the area. Charcoal samples are being Carbon-14 dated in Vilnius, Lithuania. Please note donation structure has changed and donations toward the archaeology research and the Phoenicia ship re-build work. If want to continue donating to the Phoenicia project, see link below. If not, contact Dr. Lefgren at 484-548-3350 to cancel donation there and use link above to add donation here.
  • To order items from Wayne May, donate to the on-going archaeological research in the land of Zarahemla, or subscribe to his magazine Ancient American, contact Wayne at (715)962-1422 or http://ldsarchaeology.com.
  • Spotted Beebalm, harvested from the Zarahemla temple site, has been made into an essential oil (called Zara-Thym). Dana Young has overseen this process, and hopes to offer it for sale in 2022 from Be Young Total Health, however a drought in the western US is impeding the growth and ability to irrigate the beebalm in Utah and Idaho. Prayers are requested for that effort to succeed. Dr. Kevin Price joined us at the October (2021) "third Thursday" and shared on the medicinal properties of this plant - you can watch it here. Here are also a few notes from Kevin Price and Dana Young from an email regarding questions on using the oil for those who purchased some from the 2021 batch. If questions on growing it, contact Kevin Price (opie1830@gmail.com) for more information. To learn more about spotted beebalm in general, visit https://growitbuildit.com/monarda-punctata-guide-spotted-bee-balm.
  • HeartlandArt.us has Heartland artifacts for sale. Proceeds from these items go to the Heartland Research Group, to support the on-going verification efforts in the proposed land of Zarahemla and beyond. Links to several pro-Heartland websites are included on their website.
  • The Phoenicia (Lehi-era sailing vessel that proved possibility of Lehi's colony traveling the Atlantic and landing in north America) has been privately purchased and is being relocated near Montrose, Iowa. Learn more about the voyage of the Phoenicia from Captain Beale's presentation to Lebanese American University. If you would like to volunteer to assist in the restoration project, contact Dr. John Lefgren at 484-548-3350. Donate to the rebuilding of the Phoenicia at https://zarahemla.site.
